Moving/medical expenses

7 months ago, I started a process that would not only change my life, but would change the life and better the life of someone very important to me. My little brother Leo. I was awarded permanent  custody of him.  It’s been such an eye opening experience and a blessing to have him come into my life and to have the ability to take care of him and give him the life he was never able to have. I’ve also begun the adoption process because he’s asked me to adopt him so that he will have a forever home. Somewhere to come for the holidays, someone to ALWAYS be there for him. Of course being a 22 year old taking care of a 16 year old with years of mental trauma built up and years of missed fundamental and crucial education, it’s been challenging for both of us. Definitely financially. Of course I have done everything in my power to provide everything that is necessary for his absolute success, but on a small salary, that can only go so far. I’m asking for help because we are both about to make a very important move and I’ve found a great home for us and we will be needing some extra money to get settled in and buy things for the house. In addition to a down payment and I expect expenses that have emerged within the past couple of months. On top of all of this, Leo broke his ankle and had to have surgery 2 months ago and he’s still not added onto my insurance ( at no fault of my own, just paperwork issues), and I’ve had to pay everything so far out of pocket.
