Christmas For The Homeless

Alright guys! My name is, Lena Semchenko, and I know it seems early to start my annual Christmas drive for the Homeless, however December will be here before we know it and I’d love to make the same impact that we made last year! I already have people wanting to know what is needed for this year and what they can donate! This is an annual charity event I put together every year in honor of my friend, William, who passed away. Not only was he a veteran he also spent his holiday giving back to the community in some fashion. I will be putting together mini care packages for the homeless and handing them out on Christmas starting at the Veterans shelter! Things that you can donate are:Time, Cash donations, Hand warmers, Socks, Tooth brushes, Toothpaste, Floss, Bottled water, Deodorant, Wet wipes, Simple foods like trail mix, crackers, cookies, tuna packets, toiletries, backpacks, and anything else you think someone would benefit from having!We made over 900 care packages last year and my goal is to Reach that again this year!
