Hi, my name is Danette and I am a family friend of Nishelle Harris-Miles. I am asking for help for her family to cover expenses for Nishelle get back to Dayton from Ft Myers, Florida and cover her funeral expenses. Nishelle was taken from this Earth during the devastating Hurricane Ian. Nishelle and her sister, cousin, & family friend had been vacationing in Ft Myers celebrating Nishelle’s 40th birthday.

Hurricane Ian hit the area. While they were shielding from the storm it blew the windows out of their Air BNB home and the home began to fill with water. They tied themselves together on a mattress to stay afloat. The roof collapsed on the home and a nail punctured Nishelle’s neck taking her life, all while her sister was there holding onto her hand for comfort. The girls were rescued by a neighbor 16 hours after the hurricane hit but they had to leave Nishelle behind. Now we need to help this family to get her home and give her the celebration she deserves.

Nishelle was the life of the party. She loved her family and friends and would do anything she could to help them. Nishelle leaves behind 4 children who miss their mother dearly. I am asking if you could help with finances to help cover these unexpected expenses. Dear Lord, I just ask you cover this family. God bless those of you who find it in your hearts to give anything big or small to help this grieving family bring their daughter, sister, mother, cousin, friend home.
