A Family in Need of Help
Donation protected
My Sister Amy has been battling Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia for 2 years. CML is most often controlled with medication. However, the medications caused her unbearable side effects and severe allergic reactions. Her only option is to receive a stem cell transplant. Fortunately our sister, Lisa, is a 100% percent match to donate her cells. Amy was admitted in the hospital on Tuesday, September 3rd to prepare for the transplant in which she has been given chemotherapy. This process requires a total of 90 days isolation where she will be restricted from her home. Visitation from her children, friends and family are limited due to risk of infection.
Amy is a single mother of 4 beautiful children Anna, Christopher, Melanie and Juliana. She can not work and will not be receiving financial support during her isolation and for months thereafter. She is in need of help financially to care for her children and keep up with the household bills. Our family is doing the best that we can to help however, sadly, it is not enough.
We are asking for help to keep up with her bills, household necessities and the care of her children. Anything that you can give, will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to contribute financially, please pray for our family and share Amy's campaign with others. We are eternally grateful for all the help we have received and will receive.
