This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do… Ask for help, this is our only hope. 2017 has proven to be a challenge. First I went on emergency disability from work due to stress next our house flooded early Friday morning July 21, and destroyed everything. I was able to get the cat and the dog my son and our photos and the clothes on her back everything else is destroyed being that I'm on disability already we don't have a dollar to our names. I have never had to ask for help like this and never thought I would be put in a position where I had no options. This is a very humbling and scary experience for me and I am desperately asking for any help that can support me and my son until the insurance is able to provide us with some support which could be up to two weeks. Luckily we were able to stay with a friend through the weekend but we must go on Monday. We are hoping the insurance company is going to support getting us into a hotel but it's unknown at this time as we have been playing phone tag
