Laurens Volunteer Fund

Volunteers Around the World is a non-profit orgnization that relies on donations and fundraising in order to continue its work. All donations are used to purchase medication and provide speical patient care like surgeries and intensive care. This May, Volunteers Around the World at the University of Colorado, Boulder will be providing communites in Cambodia with access to treatment and health education. This orgenization can help me gain experience in real life medicial situations and will allow me to gain first hand knowledge of medicine in foreign countries. Volunteers Around the World, will help me learn the conditions in developing countries and will broaden my perspective of healthcare. This is an opportunity for me to become involved on campus and have a sense of belonging while expanding my networks. I am currently pre-med and being able to participate in health care is an amazing opportunity for me.
