Within this photo lies the heartache and resilience of my family. On one side stands my cousin Mohamed, his wife, and their beautiful children. Their youngest was born amidst the war and rubble, a symbol of hope in a time of despair. In the next photo, you'll see his sister Reem with her husband and their little boys, resilient despite tough times.

The third photo is their little brother Mahmoud, his dreams of graduation shattered by the harsh reality of the turmoil that has gripped our homeland. This was supposed to be his year of graduation, of triumph, but instead, it has become a year of survival.

My aunt, the pillar of strength who raised them after the loss of our father at a young age, faces an additional burden – the urgent need for medical care that she cannot receive in Gaza.

She has a chronic condition that requires ongoing medication and antibiotics that she desperately needs to function normally.

They have lost their family business and struggle to afford basic necessities that are now only a luxury. Facing starvation and trauma, every day feels like a battle for survival, with no end in sight.
