The vessel the Anastacia has been missing off the coast of Cozamel since March 30 with 5 crew onboard, including Jorge de la O, Umberto Constantino (Beto), Alfonzo Torres (Chanty), Marco Bardales (Vampiro) and Russell Pech.
I am Dianne La Fon De La O, co-owner of the boat and dear friends with Jorge de la O and crew. I am in Carrolton, Texas. This fund is to pay for fuel for search boats and for search planes to find them. With monies withdrawn from the funds, we will pay for private search planes and fuels for the volunteering boats. Records of expenditures are being kept and can be shared on request. The money is being transferred and distributed directly to Jorge's family - Jorge de la O Pino (father), Geovanny De La O (brother) and Elsy Avalos Galue (aunt) - and other family members and designees who are organizing the search and rescue.
UPDATE 4/13/2016 - the search continues because there has been no evidence of a reason not to.
