Resources for Ms. Belsky's Classroom!

Hi family and friends! I just moved to Miami, Florida to teach in the Miami-Dade schools as a corps member for Teach For America. I will be teaching 8th grade math at North Miami Middle School, serving the North Miami community. It is currently an ETO school in the district meaning it is persistently lowest-achieving. As I begin the school year with a very low budget I want to still be able to offer my students the resources necessary to engage them in learning in my classroom. This requires tools like rulers and manipulatives such as white boards and markers to allow them to actively participate in class. My hope is to fundraise some money in order to have these resources for my students from day one. Your money will go towards pencils, erasers, notebooks, binders and so much more!
