Keep the Jnena Family Together, and Safe!

Before Israel launched this latest, most catastrophic war on Gaza, the Jnena family numbered nine people: Mohammed and Najwa, and their children, Anas (living safely in Kuwait, where he is a teacher), Malik (in Turkey), Abrar, Baraa, Ismael, Ahmad and Sajed. And then came November 7, when an Israeli missile flew from the sky and struck their house in the Al Shujaiaya neighborhood of Gaza City. Their house, which once was a home, is now only rubble. But worse, Mohammed is dead and Ahmad's spine and pelvis are broken. He is now in agony, and his condition worsens by the day. Gaza no longer has the medical capacity to provide the treatment he desperately needs, meaning he must travel to Egypt for treatment.

Without the funds necessary to travel, the remaining family members are living with Ahmad in Al Oroby Hospital, near Rafah.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has issued a referral that will allow Ahmad to get the treatment he needs in Egypt. But the other children can't be left alone. Sajed is only 12, and all of them now live in fear of the coming Israeli invasion of Rafah. All six members of the immediate Jnena family deserve refuge.

Everyone knows that high fees (running about US$5,000 per person at the time of this writing) are required to secure quick passage into Egypt. And then they need immediate living expenses until they develop a plan for the future.
