Hello there, my name is Hailey Mullen and my mom and stepdad own Mango Rita’s, on Fort Myers Beach, Jacinta and Jason Ingream. So September has not been a good month for our family. My father was murdered on Labor Day. A few days later my sisters husband was in a horrific auto accident. Now Mango Rita’s has been totally destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Not only has that been destroyed but at their home they lost their boat, jet ski, boat dock and lift, 5 cars, including my sister Sheridan first new car. All covered in the 12.5 storm surge. Their pool is destroyed, the pool cage destroyed, soffit, facia and everything in their garage destroyed. Also, destroyed was the trailer the had for my Grandfather Melvin. I just signed my closing for my first home on the 26th. My fence got destroyed, shingles missing. We haven’t even moved in. We had to leave for the storm. Thank the lord we are all alive after hearing Jason say “everyone wake the “F” up we are leaving, ten minutes move it.” Top all this off with a little known fact that Jason has just been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure. He said he will be ok, so I believe him. As you can see we’ve had a bad month.
They are the most giving people I know. I’m sure many of you have felt their generosity. I’m asking for your all's help with easing the pain. They’ve lost all they worked so hard to build. Pass the word, post everywhere so we can show them how much we love them.
This will help them start a new mango Rita’s so they can get the Mango team back together. This is their goal. Get a business going so their beloved staff can be back together. They already have something in the planning.
