Ryan's Trip to India

I have been presented with the opportunity to travel to Bihar, India to observe the work of Lutheran World Relief (LWR). I have been blessed with the opportunity to go as the representative from my congregation and to travel with representatives from across the country, representing the largest ELCA Lutheran churches.  I have studied micro-finance and other community development strategies LWR is deploying in my undergraduate and graduate studies. My church has graciously agreed to pay for half of the trip and I am extremely grateful. It is up to me to come up with the remaining half. This is a truly once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to the other side of the world and see a corner of India few are blessed to witness.
