The Living Word is a faith based platform that focuses on impacting the community spiritually and financially. Our mission is to promote christian culture, to share God’s word, to provide funding resources for entrepreneurs, small business owners, the underserved and also to give support to communities of color. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>> • • • • •Goal of the campaign: As part of our efforts to help the community we created this campaign to support small businesses especially black owned businesses affected by COVID-19 and recent looting from protests. These events have left so many in tough situations with little aid from federal, state and local governments. We hope to provide relief for their business and for the wellbeing of their families. We also aim to provide immediate relief to undocumented immigrants due to the injustice and unfairness they face because they do not have a social security number, they can’t receive stimulus checks or any form of support from the government. Undocumented immigrants are often shut out of health insurance coverage and other relief measures. The Living Word is raising money to directly support small business, undocumented and mixed-status families who have been excluded from federal aid and several state aid resources. Under the existing relief plan undocumented immigrants were not included to receive any form of support from the government, they cannot also apply for unemployment benefits. Part of the funds will be used to provide relief for undocumented immigrants as they need help right now but can’t get it because of their immigration status. Many of them are in vulnerable situations and are not able to receive any penny of help. Some even have families in their home country that depend on them but they cannot provide support to their families as they have no savings to fall back on. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>> • • • •Small Businesses can NOT survive this shut down. They need financial relief NOT loans that they cannot afford to pay back. We hope to support as many small businesses as possible and also to give immediate relief to undocumented immigrants in need. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> They need to survive and thrive as most of these people provide for their families from the proceeds of their business. Right now they have no source of livelihood and no support from the government.
