Starting a family

When you think about starting a family, you never imagine that you'll be told that starting it comes with a price tag. My amazing husband and I met 11 1/2 years ago, and have always dreamed of having kids. About three years ago we found out we were pregnant! Yeah!! However, it didn't work out. :( I have tried 4 rounds of IUI without success, and was recently told that my reproductive window was shorter than that of an average woman. Due to the IUI failures, the shorter window, and a low follicle count, it was recommended we do IVF. When I was told how much it would cost, I burst into tears thinking that I could never afford something like that, especially on a teacher's salary. :) Then as I was browsing Pinterest and pinning hopeful baby ideas, I came across a woman who had successfully used this site. So I'm giving it a try.
If you have a family conceived naturally, be grateful that you do not have to endure the heartbreak of one failed attempt after another. Not to mention the cost associated with each failed attempt. So I'm asking for help, which is hard for me, so that I might have the joy of not only a family, but also the experience of my own pregnancy. This money would allow us one IVF attempt and to also freeze 2 embryos for later use, or to do a second round with if the first fails. This does not include the $5,000 in medications, which we are saving for if this all works out.

I did the math (teacher thing). If 1,800 people gave $10, we'd reach our goal. Or 720 people giving $25, 360 giving $50, 240 giving $75, and only 180 people giving $100. Please share our story with as many people as you can. I know there are generous people out there if only we can reach them :)
