Miles campaign for CITY HARVEST, INC

As of April 19 2020, New York City has over 300,000 confirmed cases and over 10,000 deaths, deeming itself to be the center of this pandemic. Today, New Yorkers are financially struggling to make ends meet and food banks are struggling to handle the increase in food insecurity. In the battle to combat hunger, I hope you will join me and City Harvest in an effort to end hunger in our communities. City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization that is helping to feed nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables and thousands more who need assistance now as the devastating impact of this pandemic becomes a reality.  I’ve been working with City Harvest over the course of five years and have proudly been able to exceed my goals. With the help from both my residential and school communities, hundreds of pounds of food were collected and significant financial donations were made. City Harvest has announced that $27 can help donate and deliver one hundred pounds of food to the people who need it most. All financial donations are welcome and on behalf of City Harvest, I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to feed the people of New York City one day, one meal, one New Yorker at a time. Together we can make a difference!
