HELP US TO INFLUENCE THE LAMBETH HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT
The proposal for the Lambeth Hospital site is out and we need to act now!
SLAM would like to build an 18 storey tower block and 9, 7, 6, 5 and 3 storey buildings all of which will overlook and shadow the surrounding 2 and 3 storey Victorian terraced houses and their gardens.
Whilst it is accepted that this site will be redeveloped this site needs to be developed in a way that is in keeping with the surrounding area and be for the benefit for the community-it is our belief that the development is too large for the local area and that the existing local infrastructure (support services, health, education and transport) will not be able to cope.
The funds will be allocated and spent by the residents group that has been set up to challenge these plans.
