Physical and mental training combined with unique experience is what we intend to bring out on stormy waters, that and a formidable vessel.
Since having met under our conscript time in the Swedish Airborne Ranger School, our time together have made us cross mountains and seas, asphalt and sand, gravel and stone, all in the name of competition. The name of the game has been Ultra marathons, Iron man challenges, elite competition leading to National merits in swimming and canoeing. And more sweat then we dare contemplate.
Why sponsor?
This project is about inspiration. That is what we will need to make it across the Atlantic, which is also what we can offer you as a sponsor. What we need in order to achieve our goal is preparation, hard work, endurance, communication and team-work. Pretty much the same elements any company needs to master in order to be successful.
Why not have your company follow our progress and challenge your co-workers to train three minutes for every 10 km we row (we will row 120 km per day). Or try to reach a set production goal under the time it takes us to reach our destination. Either way we would be delighted not to be the only ones sharing this challenge.
We will continuously update and document our adventure. Our means of communication will be reporting by satellite phone directly to our mainland support staff that in turn link our thoughts and progress to the rest of the world. Our arenas of communication will be our website, Facebook and hopefully also radio shows (several stations have already showed great
interest). Our progress and position will be constantly updated on our website. This page along with our other means of communication is a natural place for our sponsors to be seen with logos and brand names. Names and logotypes will be seen on the boat and on our clothes during all media coverage.
We would love to visit your company meet, kick off or clients and talk about our preparations or post-adventure lessons. Generally applicable lessons about how to stay in the fight and how to work as a team, even though things seems somewhat murky, that will be our legacy to you and anyone you wish us to enrich.
