Workshops with Purpose KIJABE HOSPITAL

Ever since I started my photography business I wanted to do something that would make a difference. I want to use my pictures to raise awareness for organizations who are making a difference in the world. It has been a deep desire of my heart for many years. I have done my best to walk that desire out while on past trips. I want to share the news that I have been blessed with the opportunity to be one of the eight to join Workshops with a Purpose in Kenya to learn how to help non-profit organizations raise awareness from start to finish. This is an amazing opportunity to not only learn but to help the Kijabe Hospital.
During the week long trip in November we will be helping Kijabe Hospital in East Africa. Since 1915, AIC Kijabe Hospital has been dedicated to serving the most vulnerable in Kenya and surrounding countries. It is a non-profit, faith-based hospital with a staff of over 700, including a number of volunteer missionaries from overseas. The mission of the hospital is to provide compassionate healthcare, excellent medical training and spiritual ministry to the glory of God, regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
As part of my participation in this workshop, I'm required to raise $4,000 to be donated directly to the Workshops With Purpose. This is due August 10th 2013. Your donation of any amount would be a great help toward my reaching this goal. Please make a contribution of a sum of your choice, in addition I would ask you to pray for what we are doing.Thank you so much for your support. I will think of you often as I bravely pound the pavement in Kenya!
