SAVE JAKE'S EYE Myself & My Best Friend/boyfriend Kenny McKinney are setting up this page because his five-year-old beautiful Warlock Doberman was in a severe accident. On Friday February 24th Jake had a serious accident. Jake ran into a large mirror and received a severe laceration to his head, above the left ear, with a large hematoma extending towards his eye & severe periorbital swelling. Which has now pushed his left eye almost out & now has to be removed. Jake lost so much blood that he almost died. not to mention the deep cut and immediate Hemorrhage to his eye. As Kenny held Jake with tears pouring down his face he spoke to him and said " I'm not burying you today " We did not !!! THE ER Vet is our hero! She Saved his life, stopped the bleeding & cleaned him up. Unfortunately she could not assist any further due to immediate payment due at time of services. Unknown to us, we did not realize that there was NO way to set up a payment plan. Searching desperately, we finally found a vet that can help during this difficult time. The vet is asking for an additional $456.00. (We've already paid out $230, from a family donation). With gratefulness & humbleness I am asking for Any kind of assistance. Financial Aid & Prayers.
