Scooter stolen

On Monday this week I was pulling up to park my scooter at Stretford Mall when a group of men took me by surprise and pushed me off my bike and rode off with it.
The scooter had a tracker installed on it and I was able to provide police with details of where it had been left and it was recovered within the hour. However the police are now holding my scooter for forensics and when they have finished I will need to pay around £150 to get it back.
This scooter was my only means of transport and I am currently looking for work and have actually had to turn reject a job offer this week because I could no longer get to the place as no public transport runs between where I live and where the job is.
I also use my scooter to visit my parents and grandparent which now becomes very difficult as neither live on a direct route between where I live and where they live via public transport (cost for me to visit grandparent by bus is nearly £10 as 2 different bus companies are involved so would need to buy 2 different day tickets).
My limited budget due to only getting Universal Credit has been pushed beyond breaking point.
I am asking for £400 to cover the £150 fee to get my scooter back, £150 to cover the excess on my insurance to get any damage to the scooter put right and an extra £100 to cover extra travel expenses I have while I wait for my scooter to be repaired (I am sure it will be more than that but I feel uncomfortable enough asking for this amount of money as it is).
Any amount you can spare is gratefully received.
