3D Printers to Print Medical Face Shields
Donation protected
During this pandemic local rehabs, nursing homes and firehouses are in desperate need of medical face shields. Alex Webb and his neighborhood friends have decided to use their 3D printers to print and assemble over 50 face shields so far which have all been donated to front line workers. It takes about 3 hrs to print a single face shield and the boys are trying to produce as many as they can to protect those in need. They are trying to raise enough money to purchase additional 3D printers to loan out to other local kids with 3D printing experience to increase production. Each printer costs about $250 and after the pandemic every printer bought through donations will be given to local schools such as Ridgeview, Quince Orchard and Jones Lane. Thank you advance for all your donations!
