This is the largest Queen Ann style historic mansion in North Louisiana. It is located at 728 Austen Place in Shreveport, La. Built in 1896,it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Ogilvie-Wiener Home. In the 1950's it was known as the Florentine Club, where national top entertainers and famous guest visited and performed. The mansion is listed on the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation's most endangered list. This structure has fallen into disrepair and is in need of major preservation, starting with the roof. We need your help and support. If you are interested in historic preservation and would like to be a part of saving this historic mansion, your contribution would be greatly appreciated. Please share this link with others that are interested in preservation of the "True Blood" house or "Florentine Club" Thanks Debbie Bryant
