As you may or may not have heard, I recently lost a dear love one this week. My Mother Crystal Johnson passed away Friday leaving behind my sister and I. In 2012 my mother underwent a stem cell transplant finally ending her 12 year battle with Leukemia and sending the disease into remission. My mother checked herself into the hospital last week after complaints of side pains, and the worry of pneumonia affecting her. After doctors administered medicine to numb the pain, our family was suddenly struck with news that she must be medically induced into a coma to help preserve her life. Unfortunately, after these series of events her health deteriorated rapidly and lost the fight for her life on Friday May 31st. Unfortunately, my mother had not enrolled in any kind of life insurance. So, my sister and I are taking on the financial responsibility of burying our mother and taking care of her final arrangements.
