Help for Jareds Heart

If you know Kristi Wolthuis at all, you know she has always been a person who drops what she's doing when someone needs her. She has been putting other peoples needs before her own for some time now. She's been a counselor, a parent partner, a personal cheerleader, and a confidant.
Right now Kristi is a desperate parent. She is fighting to keep her 31 year old son, Jared Wolthuis, alive. Diagnosed with congestive heart failure he has gotten to the point he can no longer do it without machines and medicines. And, if he doesn't receive a heart transplant soon, even those will be useless.
About a week ago Jared was taken to Mayo Clinic in Rochester. There he spent a week in Intensive care trying to get his extremely low functioning heart pumping better with medication. After a week he was transferred to The University of Minnesota and they have begun testing to ensure he can handle a Heart Transplant should they be able to get him to the top of the list.
Kristi has been, and will remain at his side during this time. Expenses are mounting with the cost of gas, food and lodging. She has been trying to wing it without any help but it's getting difficult.
Kristi has done so much for so many without a second thought. I feel like now is the time to do the same. She needs to be able to be with Jared and be there for him without worrying that there will be added hardships for the family.
The first week it cost almost $1000 for Kristi and Jared's Daughter to be there. He is going to be in the University of Minnesota much longer.
I'm trying to help raise money to help with the cost for Kristi to remain at Jareds side, any uncovered medical expenses along with what she has already had to spend to be there.
