Nardia Poole’s (Fallon) Cancer journey

Hi All, On Behalf of Nardia Poole’s (Fallon) family and friends we are reaching out and asking for your help This is her story: On the 6th April 2023 family and friends were shattered by the news that it was highly likely that Nads would soon be diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer after receiving results from a CT scan. With no other symptoms than a sore back, she had been seeing medical professionals for over 6 months before being referred for a CT scan locally in Karratha. No one expects to be told their sore back is the result of multiple tumours that have formed on the spine. She was soon sent to Perth after the Easter long weekend and was presented with the official diagnosis on the week of her 43rd Birthday- Invasive Lobular Carcinoma, which has now spread to 4 areas of her body. Due the severity of the tumours on her spine, she is required to have surgery to stabilise her spine and save it from collapsing, prior to any treatment. Nads is a Mum of two girls aged 18 and 6. Her eldest daughter is currently supporting her mum in Perth while we wait for the final prognosis and treatment plan to start while her Husband Daniel is taking care of their youngest daughter in Karratha so she can continue to attend school and uphold some normality in their most challenging times. With the family being located 1600km north of Perth and extended family on the east coast of Australia, there is multiple extensive costs involved that are not covered by PATS and private health. With no outlook on being able to return to work anytime soon we are creating this fundraiser to help take the pressure off for things that are not covered and to help with day to day expenses such as extensive medical treatments, accomodation, flights for family members that may need attend to Nads during her time of treatment. We have had so many offers of support from people asking what they can do to ease day to day struggles with the long road ahead, so please consider this fundraiser if you feel like you can support with either a donation or a share of her story.
