Mallory's Brain Surgery Fund

Mallory has what's called a Chiari Malformation and that's where the brain grows into the spinal column and could potentially wrap around the spinal cord and cause paralysis. She has had it since birth, but because the symptoms don't begin to show until adolescence or early adult hood, it has gone unchecked for many years. Mallory now needs this surgery within the month.
They have to go in and make an incision from the mid-top of her skull to the bottom of her neck, take a piece of her skull out and put everything in its right place in the hopes of it not reoccurring. The recovery process will take a lot of time and attention, because the area is so delicate.
Mallory is currently in nursing school and has to take time off for her surgery in January. She will have to be in the ICU for a couple of days and stay in the hospital for up to two weeks. Her recovery time is anywhere from 1-4 months and she will be extremely limited in the things that she can do.
As you may have guessed, brain surgery is not cheap. We are doing everything we can to pay for it, but it seems like it's never enough. If anyone would like to help, any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
