Hello everyone, I am trying to help a friend raise some funds to do a proper burial or cremation for his brother, Jonathan Clearance Williams. The Merced County Coroner's Office was having a hard time getting in contact with next of kin because his brother, Jamie Williams, is homeless. He is a friend of mine and I allow him to stay in my shed for now. The coroner's office told him he has 30 days before he no longer has access to his brother's remains and they will cremate him and bury him in some random graveyard. Jamie was incredibly close with his baby brother before his passing and is simply asking if some kind people can find it in their hearts to donate even $1 so he can choose to cremate him and carry his ashes with him or as he chooses. The coroner's office is currently working with us since they took a long time to find Jamie, but they said the deadline is 30 days.
