Jenny Lamb's MFA
Spende geschützt
Hey world. It's me, Jenny Lamb.
After being a working actress in Chicago, IL for 15 years and starting a children's theatre company I decided to turn my dreams into plans and get my MFA at Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. At age (almost) 40.
I have learned more about myself, ensemble, the natural world and the importance of theatre than I ever thought possible.
I have delved into Commedia, Melodrama, Clown, Tragedy, Character, Adaptation and Community Based Arts in these first two years.
Now coming up we will create a Holiday Show, go to Bali for a month, investigate Storytelling and I will create my Thesis Show.
The first two years of study have been paid for with student loans. For my final year, I have already been the grateful recipient of a $10,000 scholarship and am hoping that the rest of tuition and living expenses can be crowd sourced.
I assure you, it is for a good cause. I have begun to realize that creating theatre is in service to community - locally and globally. I am inspired and emboldened through working with my amazing international ensemble of 12.
This whole experience has been nothing short of life changing. If you can donate anything to help me complete this quest, I would be eternally indebted to you.
