My Brother

My name is Peter and I am 75 years old. I have been searching for my real Father for most of my life. I did a DNA test through Ancestry.com in 2007 as a last resort and to my sheer delight and joy I had a DNA match come back in December 2018 who turned out to be my Half-Brother who is 73 years old and lives in America. We were both over the moon. Although this was fantastic news, he told me that our Father had passed away in March 2012. That upset me not being able to meet my Father but so, so happy to find that I have a Brother.

Unfortunately, my Brother is not well. He has just undergone a hip operation and has been diagnosed with prostate cancer which he will be operated on in May. As a result, he is unable to travel. I am also a cancer patient and registered disabled, but I can travel.

Our sole wish is to meet in person. To be able to hug each other and to spend a little time getting to know each other. Because of our ages and health problems, this probably would be our only chance to get to do that.

I am asking if you could help fund me to travel to America with my wife (carer) to visit my Brother. You would make 2 old boys extremely happy and eternally grateful. Thank you.
