When a friend is sick we make a meal, when someone dies we lend a shoulder. In this case the sick is Cancer, thankfully, no one has died. However, with the diagnosis comes lots of tests, Doctors, and chemo treatments which means missed work ~ missed wages.
Unfortunately, Bob (at 70 years old) still must work to pay the bills after having his life's work and savings destroyed by the Great Recession. He has worked hard to recover but has been humbled by prostate cancer and lymphoma. While doing Chemo, Bob was so tired and exhausted that he fell asleep at the wheel on his way to work one morning, flipped his car and totalled it. He is lucky to be alive...
At this point he won't be able to work for at least 6~8 weeks, the medical bills are piling up and things are looking bleak. I'd like to show them the love, by not making a meal, but by helping them pay some of their expenses, Bob will need a set of wheels when he is able to go back to work...please donate what you can to help this family in distress!
