Medical and living expenses

Many of you know Jim is an owner operator driving over a million miles in his life. He has been all over the United States but his last run ended in Laredo, Texas on March 2nd 2016.
He was feeling like he was coming down with the flu and tried to sleep it off, he ended up in the ER with extreme pain and vomiting.  They put him on an IV and gave him pain meds and the doctor sent him back to his truck, he then returned the next night with extreme pain again with the pain pills not touching it. At that time they ran a CAT scan to see what was going on, once the results came back the doctor came in and told Jim he had Pancreatic Cancer and it looked to have spread to his liver and L5 region in his spine. The doctor said go home now and get right in to your doctor you are critical! He then called his wife and gave her the news, at that time his mother inlaw flew him home that night. He got right into his PCP on March 7th and then into the the oncologist on March 8th, he scheduled a PET scan and that was done on March 9th, it seemed like everything was going so fast once he did the scan it confirmed Jim has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it had indeed moved into the liver and L5. Next he went in for a liver biopsy on March 14th and at that time they also put in his power port to administer chemo or put in IV's and to also draw blood from. Once all the test were back he was told it is incurable and he would be on chemo for the rest of his life,  the plan is to just contain the cancer and try to shrink the tumors. Shortly after that he ended up in the hospital extremely sick for two weekends in a row, he has now been on chemo since March 29th and has good days and bad days. His wife is now working 3 jobs and doing photo shoots on the side to try and make ends meet, Jim will never work again and this has caused a huge financial struggle on the whole family his son is very involved with sports and his daughter is in school to become a vet tech. Unfortunately it is time to ask for financial help to get through this trying time in their life, they need help paying their mortage, gas, utilities, and day to day living expenses. On June 11th, 2016 there will be a benefit held for Jim at Widewater Retreat Center 4050 Old US24 Liberty Center OH 43532. They are planning a poker run, a chicken dinner and silent auctions. This is in the early stages of planning and will post updates on the event facebook page.
They have been so extremely blessed by so many people already and the support system they have is amazing and they cannot thank everyone enough. All donations are appreciated along with your continued prayers for Jim and his family.
