Luke's Lights for Boston Marathon

Hello Everyone! Two months ago I was given an amazing opportunity to run the Boston Marathon supporting Luke's Lights charity and in the memory of my best friend Luke VK. It was a late entry into the marathon. Someone else with the charity bib could not do it, and there was no way I was going to pass up this opportuinty. Especially for Luke.  At first my goal was lofty, and I had hopes of being able to run the entire marathon with only two months of training, but the training has been hard, I've had on and off problems with my foot, and I have since changed my goal to running at least half of the marathon. And who knows, maybe I'll be urged on with the though of Luke looking on and get myself to the finish line. Either way this is an incredible experience, and is done to support an amazing charity that is bringing light to those who only have the sun as their source of light. This fundraiser is being set up late because I was unsure if I could commit to the race or if my body would be capable of running the marathon after such little training, but I am fully committed to making it as far as I can on race day. That being said, I am asking for your support whether it be in cheers come race day or donations to Luke's Lights charity. I am looking forward to putting on the Boston Marathon bib and running as far as I can! As always I hope to "Dream Big and Do Bigger"!
