Diversity Research Trip To Europe

Angel Poole is the name and social change is the game.I am a courageous student leader from the University of Akron who enjoys challenges that allows me to utilize my unique skill set. I've been presented with my biggest challenge yet and that is where you guys come in. I will be researching abroad in hopes to gain better understanding of the racial barriers that people of color face in Europe. I will be traveling to Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and the United Kingdom. While in these countries I will be visiting different universities and local communities to learn about their views, experiences and encounters with "racism". I expect to learn about different initiatives and programs that are in place to help with the racial barrier in hopes to bring back a new understanding of diversity. My trip is all expense paid but I do have to pay for food. I will be gone from December 27, 2016 until January 17, 2017, I will need enough food for those three weeks and that is why I need your help!
