#teamlove Run for Sandy Hook Promise

When I heard the news of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, I was moved to tears. Then, I thought, "We have to do better." And I was moved to action.
On Sunday, May 26, I will be running 26.2 miles in the Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, remembering the 26 members of the Sandy Hook community who lost their lives that fateful morning.
I'm asking you to to be moved to action,to pledge money for the miles I will run. I'm asking you to help Sandy Hook Promise
to advance the cause of gun safety, not to demonize gun owners, not to criminalize gun ownership, but to find common sense solutions that will make our nation a safer place. (I was very careful not to engage an organization that is anti-gun.)
So, give what you can. Give $1,000. Give $100. Give $26. Most importantly, though, give these members of the Sandy Hook community an opportunity to turn tragedy into triumph.
