Those who are fortunate enough to know Rhonda understand she is a very private and unsassuming woman. She would rather give than receive, it is her nature and one of the things people love about her.
Rhonda & Eugene were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Matthew, whom they adopted. He is the light that fills their hearts and the reason they work so hard each and everyday. Matthew is Rhonda's reason for allowing me, Althea, to reach out on her behalf.
On April 27, 2016 after having been hospitalized for a heart murmur earlier in the month the doctors delivered a blow that continues to weigh heavily emotionally and subsequently financially on Rhonda & her family.
Rhonda has been diagnosed with Chronic Meyloid Leukemia (CML). The doctor's have given her hope and she is fighting the battle of her life for herself and her beautiful little boy Matthew. Matthew needs his mother to love and nurture him.
The diagnosis is devastating financially. Even though she has medical insurance, the coverage is limited and lacking. We are reaching out for assistance in paying her medical and pharmaceautical bills. Her goal is to heal and she cannot do that while worrrying about how to pay for the medical treatment necessary to save her life.
