4 the ❤️ of Mateo Mission Trip

http://www.fortheloveofmateo.com/ 9 years ago the mission trips that I had been so blessed to be a part of and leading, working in the missions department of my home church in San Dimas, all got called to a "pause" as I trusted God when He sent me to move to San Diego and trust Him to one day bring me back to going back out on the field and share His love for the world. I didn't know how or when but I knew if I ached for it then He wasn't finished with me but had only just begun and I only had to be patient.
Not knowing when or how the time would come for this day that brings me to tears of joy as I share His timing is always perfect and Greater are His ways when we trust Him.
What I didn't know I'd be entering into when I said Yes to an extra stream of income has been far beyond all I could imagine. Saying yes also led me to Executive National Vice President Valerie Edwards and this opportunity through another Godgiven dear friend and Regional Vice President with Arbonne Ruth Sherlock sharing with me she was going on with her. Valerie's love and heart to adopt her son Mateo to only be told as her and her family were going through the process, the orphanage was going under and so she did what God has called her to do and step out in faith to adopt her son AND an orphanage! She leads out a few teams a year to help not only with For the LOVE of Mateo Orphanage but various organizations from delivering bunk beds, food, clothing, toiletries, shoes, blankets, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toys and straight up LOVE to the loss and needy.
One of the 3 disclaimers I told Jason when we first started dating was missions was one thing I knew God has placed on my heart to serve Him with and had always envisioned taking my family on these trips and of that wasn't his thing... Well... Here we are and while my family won't be going on this trip with me just yet, daddy and the girls have got my back and he'll be holding down the fort for my first and longest time ever away from my girls and him! ❤️
Please hold us and the team in our prayers and thoughts for this trip to Guatemala December 3rd (my 5th wedding anniversary) and returning December 9th.
If you could help with the cost that will be covering my part for contributing and shopping for our donations any $2 counts!
I will even do a burpee PER dollar raised!!
