Support Jacob’s Recovery After Head-On Collison

update 6/10/2025: Jacob is out of the ICU, spent one day on an ortho unit, and has come home! He is still expected to be out of work for 3 months minimum, and we have learned his wallet was lost in the chaos. We are still fundraising for his rent, utilities, other bills, and easy to make foods while he is focusing on his recovery. Thank you all for your kindness ❣️❣️

Early this week, our roommate and friend of 20+ years was the passenger of a devastating accident on Hwy 58.

All 8 people in the accident were rushed to the hospital by ambulance, half of them needing surgery and all of them requiring extensive physical therapy and months of recovery time.

Jacob has been in the ICU, and is expected to recover eventually; but his injuries are going to keep him from working for many, many months. He is suffering from a broken femur, ankle, wrist/hand, and head trauma.

He had surgery to have a rod put in his thigh as well as surgery on his ankle and will soon be seeing a specialist for his hand/wrist.

All proceeds will go to basic bills/rent and necessities. Please help our friend focus solely on his recovery rather than adding financial stress to the mix!

** I will also be starting a meal train when we have a better estimation of when he is coming home from the hospital **
