Friends of the Children

We are Friends of the Children, a non-profit medical mission group providing care and service to the people of Haiti for almost two decades. We complete two missions each year -- two weeks each -- and ensure that the people of Lamontagne, Haiti have the best consistent medical and educational attention possible. This year we were surprised to be attacked by Hurricane Matthew during our Fall mission trip. Beyond the health and safety issues it presented, more importantly, the hurricane resulted in complete devastation of the village and region that we have worked so hard to support. We need continued support - now more than ever - to sustain the lives of thousands of Haitians in the very desolate region of the country that has withstood so much with so very few resources. Please help us continue the work that is so important to these warm and caring people. The funds will allow us to provide even more care and support than we've done in the past, given the increased desolation of the region. We are forever grateful.
