Saving Dmitria
Donation protected
Dmitria, a gentle 144 pound English Mastiff, was diagnosed with terminal cancer and discarded by her owners. She bears the scars of a hard life and likely spent much of her time in a puppy mill. She was rescued by a wonderful lady who was told by her landlord that she either needed to remove the dog or face eviction.
Dmitria has been brought to Ruff Ranch Sanctuary, where she will live out her days surrounded by love. We want to make Dmitria (now called Demi) as comfortable as possible, which will require surgery at the cost of about $4,000. Dmitria has been followed by the news and received much love:

We are a very small rescue and need your help to cover the cost of the surgery to remove the tumor from her eye area. Our mission is to bring veterans and “harder to place” dogs together in a program that will provide housing and employment for veterans and safe haven for challenged and aging canines. Ruff Ranch Sanctuary is a publicly recognized non-profit organization pursuant of IRS Section 501(c)3, Tax ID #47-3338660. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
We appreciate any help you can give, as we would like to have the surgery done in May. We have been given hope that this may not be terminal and we will be able to save her life.
Thank you for helping this girl who has had such a hard life. Donations can be sent through the Ruff Ranch Sanctuary website:
