Waldorf School-Together We Thrive
Donation protected
The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh Annual Fund is made up of gifts from generous parents like you, alums, teachers, staff, parents of alums, former staff, grandparents, and friends. In 2015-16, gifts from more than 196 donors added up to $61,000 in support of some of our most precious projects.
Our gofundme goal for 2016-17 is $65,000. Your annual fund donation makes an immediate impact on the quality of the school and directly benefits your child and other students. You can help!
The Annual Fund provides resources for the operating budget, which supports many things such as our Eurythmy program, maintenance and expansion of our school, financial assistance for 40% of our students, as well as teachers’ salaries and compensation (maybe the most important!) — all aspects of the school from the nitty-gritty to the inspiring.
Our recent successes require expansion! We are at a tipping point for what our school can be in the future. Every class, fifth grade and lower, is close to student capacity. In addition, Camp Waldorf summer camp has grown by 240% in the past two years. A successful Annual Fund , supported by a large percentage of the Waldorf community and other supporters, directly contributes to the experience students have at WSP. It affirms and celebrates all that we’ve grown and continue to grow together. It reflects our belief in the transformative power and beauty a Waldorf Education provides. If you have any questions, please contact Kirsten Christopherson-Clark, Head of School or Bob Roberson, Business Manager.
Thank you for giving joyfully!
