Cameroon Project

Hi! My name is Luke Miller, and I am a current sophomore History/French double major at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. This summer, I will be leading a project in Fundong, Cameroon, consisting of 3-5 fellow student volunteers, where we will be running an HIV/AIDS/Safe Sex Summer camp, leading a Family Relationships Seminar and Workshop, and working on improvements to the local water system. We will be under the supervision of an experienced Peace Corps volunteer while in country. I will be leading this trip with help from Nourish International, a national organization with chapters at colleges around the country"”the newest chapter being our very own in Claremont.

However, all of the fundraising efforts we have completed so far as a Nourish chapter in Claremont will be going directly to the project itself, not to airfare, cost of living, or other travel expenses for the individuals involved in the project, including myself.
