2nd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution

 

 

Due to the success of last year's annual turkey giveaway, I want to continue my endeavor serving families in need within Baltimore City. Due to the high population of returning citizens to certain areas I find it necessary to provide support to the families who either directly or indirectly have been subjected to the criminal justice system. I intend to set up a hub for the distribution of turkeys to families who may not be fortunate enough to access quality foods in areas designated as food deserts. With the holidays approaching, I want to ensure families can receive turkeys for Thanksgiving supper. Factoring in the cost of quality turkeys in which the plan is to distribute between 200-350 turkeys. We will also have to factor in the cost of renting a refrigerated truck. I am asking those within my network and outside to assist me in meeting my goal of $6,000 before November 20 to service those in need within several Baltimore communities before Thanksgiving (November 25, 2021). Every dollar donated will be used toward feeding the hungry in underserved communities. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
