2nd Annual Queen Creek Juneteenth Celebration

Hello,

My name is Laura Craft and I am the organizer of the 2nd Annual Queen Creek, Arizona Juneteenth Celebration.

Can I tell you how FORTUNATE we were with the

1st Annual Queen Creek Juneteenth Celebration? We had over 300 people join us. There were numerous food and non-food vendors present. It was free and open to the public.

There was dancing, singing, poetry, a comedian, a silent auction, a blood drive with the American Red Cross, and even a live DJ.

Rodeo Chysler, Dodge, Jeep dealership and Crown One Beauty Supply, both of Queen Creek, AZ, provided corporate sponsorship.

Our Town Councilman, Robin Benning, and our new Police Chief, Randy Brice, also shared a few words with the audience.

Oh boy - did we have fun celebrating our ancestors and the freeing of the last slaves in the US!

In 2023 - we have even more planned...and the best news is that we have secured an INDOOR location to have the event in Queen Creek, AZ.

We hope you will freely contribute to the 2nd Annual Queen Creek, Arizona Juneteenth Celebration and help us have an even better event.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 18, 2023 (10am - 2pm) - Free and Open to the Public.

It will be held at The Barney Family Sports Complex, 22050 E Queen Creek Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.

**AND YES - the event is on Father's Day, and we will be celebrating ALL Fathers in attendance.
