2nd Annual Holiday Shop with a Player Event

Dillan Gibbons, Big Man Big Heart Ambassador / QB1 Jordan Travis, and the newest Big Man Big Heart Ambassador - running back Trey Benson have teamed up to raise money to bring joy into the lives of underprivileged children and their families in the Tallahassee community during the holidays. Jordan, Trey, and Dillan are planning the Second Annual Big Man Big Heart Holiday "Shop with a Player" event- an event that will pair underprivileged and at-risk Tallahassee children from the Boys and Girls Club of Tallahassee with an FSU Football player for a fun-filled afternoon including holiday shopping at Walmart, fun football activities with the players, followed by pizza sponsored in part by Gaines Street Pies. Each child will be given a gift card with a spending budget for themselves and sent home with another gift card for their family to use for holiday shopping. Big Man Big Heart will also be adopting a needy family and sponsoring the entire family's Christmas!

The participants will be given FSU autograph footballs or helmets which have been sponsored in part by Garnet and Gold so that they can capture the memories of this event by getting their favorite players to sign their autographs.

The event will be scheduled after the Noles bowl game schedule is announced. The goal is to raise enough money to treat 75-100 children to this day of holiday shopping, food and fun at an estimated cost of $300 per participant.

Dillan, Jordan, and Trey are excited to inspire their teammates and support staff to get involved in this event again this year and give back to the Tallahassee community that has supported the Noles during their EPIC #CLIMB this season.
