David Narvaez Memorial Fund

Friends of David,

This campaign has been set up to reach David's close friends and family, as well as members of the tennis community who knew him. The funds raised will be put towards creating a memorial to be located near the St. Olaf College tennis courts. At this time, we plan to have a bench built to include a personalized plaque or engraving with words to honor David. We hope that it could be placed to overlook both tiers of courts. A dedication ceremony will be planned for next spring with details to follow. 

As one David's teammates and doubles partners, I fondly remember his positive attitude on the court that was a testament to his overall character. I feel lucky to have been on the same side of the net as Narv - his good heart and flawless return of serve will carry on in our memories.
