Hi, my name is Emily George and I am creating this account to assist my mother.
My mother has been battling symptoms of nausea, abdominal discomfort, lack of appetite, and fatigue for 2 months now. The last 2 weeks have been the worst. She has barely been able to eat, drink, or function at all for these past 2 weeks. What makes this even worse is that she's self-employed and has been unable to work for these past 2 weeks and that is her only source of income. Being sick and not knowing what's wrong is burden enough. I'd like to make it a little easier for her, if possible, by not having to worry too much about the the financial burden of this illness.
She was hospitalized twice at BVH last week after two trips to the ER and now she has been transferred to The James Cancer Hospital. We are currently waiting on them to do a biopsy and other tests to find out exactly what we're dealing with.
I love my mom with all my heart! Please join me, if able, in alleviating any financial stress she may encounter. Big or small, anything helps. One less thing to worry about while so much is already on her mind.
