"To know her is to love her." She is the village for family, friends, co-workers and people in need.
On August 15, 2019, Shekina was hit by a car walking across the street. She had three major surgeries Through the Grace of God, Heavenly Angels and Prayer Warriors, she is healing. Now is the time for her recovery of the mental and physical trauma ~ rebirth of the mind, body and soul.
Life has given Shekina challenges and boulders that she continuously knocks down and triumphantly rises to be a testament for others. Life has also given her expenses that become overwhelming and a burden during healing and recovering.
She will be in the hospital for months, ICU, Intermediate Care, in patient Rehabilitation, ongoing Physical Therapy and Dental treatments. Her bills will continuously rise through months of medical and dental care. With the help from The Village, Shekina can offset medical, dental, legal fees, and other expenses related to her lifelong injuries and recovery costs.
Her strength, resilience, faith and positive spirits with the support of The Village will triumph over any adversities.
