Last Wednesday, Ben Price (for Sewanee alumni - Mary Pollitt Price's husband) was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. He was thrown 50 feet and sustained a broken hip, open book fracture of the pelvic ring, multiple fractures of his left leg and one in his left scapula. As his wife pointed out, he was wearing his helmet so his brain and personality are very much intact!

BUT the doctors are advising he will be in the hospital for at least a month with intensive physical therapy following.

AND Ben is a self employed primary breadwinner for a young family of five.
