My friend and coworker has recently been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. It is in her right breast and has spread to her lymph nodes. The plan right now is to start with chemotherapy, than a mastectomy. She is a single mother of two, and one of the hardest workers I have ever known. Medical expenses have already started piling up, and that is just from the testing she has had to do so far, and her long journey is just beginning. There will be numerous more expenses, and she will be missing a lot of work. She would do anything in her power to help someone in their time of need, so let us return the favor.
