Fundraiser For "Clinic On Wheels!"

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise funds for a "health clinic on wheels" that will serve immigrant and low-income people in the Bay Area.
My name is Leslie and I am a nursing student that have recently joined a non-profit organization called (Initiative for Community Wellness: http://icwclinic.org ) that provides free healthcare to the Bay Area community (currently located in Hayward). The majority of the patients are immigrant peoples, and those who cannot afford health insurance. We are currently working with the Day Labor Center, a non-profit organization that enable low-income, predominantly migrant workers in the East Bay Area reach self-sufficiency through employment and community integration programs. They are letting us have a space in their building for our clinic dates; however, they are at risk to close most of the building due to a lack of grants and donations (please refer to this fundraiser to support them: https://daylaborcenter.wedid.it/).
All hope is not lost, as we are provided with a “clinic in a can.” The Day Labor Director, Gabriel Hernandez with the help of a Nurse Practitioner paid monthly amounts to convert a shipment container into a “doctor’s office.” However, due to the Day Labor Center monetary deficits, funding is halted to the to-be-mobile clinic. That’s where you come in!

The money raised by this fundraiser will go towards a Lowboy, a trailer that can mobilize the clinic to travel around the California Bay Area and Tri-Valley areas. Any excess funding will be used to fund medical supplies used in the clinic, pay for the clinic to be painted by artists, clinic’s travel and maintenance expenses, and to help out the Day Labor Center (one of our clinic sites).
Any Donor who donates $1,000+ may have their business logo painted onto the exterior side of the clinic as advertisement and appreciation (all logos will go under strict approval).
Any Donor who donates $2,000+ may request for our mobile clinic to stop by an area of their choice or home town (must be in Bay Area or Tri-Valley).

We truly appreciate any contributions for our cause. We are trying to make the world a better place, one step at a time and you can be a part of it! We hope to have enough donations to start driving the clinic around by late September!
